Mixed Media Mania: Summer July 2025
MIXED MEDIA MANIA returns with Katrina Zimmerman M-F, 9 am – noon July 7-11, students entering grades 2 – 5 SAS members: $125 per week, non-members: $135 Teacher pay: 60% of income, after materials costs Description: Ready for another fun packed week of creativity and imagination at our Mixed Media Mania Summer Art Camp? Tailored for budding artists aged 8-13, this dynamic program will explore artistic expression through a variety of arts media including printmaking, sculpture, painting/drawing, and more depending on the interests of the artist campers. Guided by the experienced and passionate visual art instructor, Katrina Zimmerman, young artists will embark on a captivating journey where they can seamlessly merge different mediums to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces while helping students discover where their inner artist shines. Throughout the camp, participants will develop fundamental art skills, explore various techniques, and cultivate their unique artistic voices. With a focus on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, our camp aims to inspire confidence, self-expression, and a lifelong love for the arts. Students will proudly display their creations in an exhibit on the last day of camp before bringing them home.
