Printmaking & Mixed Media Camp
Ready to mix nature, upcycled materials, crafting, and fine art processes into one fun art extravaganza? Students will learn about influential artists and discover a love for mixed media as they explore a variety of art processes from paper making, flower hammering, printmaking, to cyanotypes inspired by Leonie Barton, Pebble Picasso, and Andy Goldsworthy. Students may select their best work to create a fine art print or piece to exhibit in the gallery for friends and family at the end of the week.
Each day will include an “art choice” in the afternoon, where students will be free to continue exploration from the main activity or create a piece from alternative art choice art materials. Art choice includes found object mandalas, 3D cardboard sculptures, pet portraits, and more!
